Century Lanes located in downtown De Pere has a unique offering, with a double decker set up of twelve lanes. Six lanes on top and an additional six on the lower level. This has given the owner Tim Karl an advantage over the years to always offer open bowling and league play at the same time. He also says that it’s been great for private parties, including when members of the CBS Sports Crew stop after a Packers game. Speaking of Packers, Century Lanes is featured on a tour of Packers history. Century Lanes was one of the chosen hangouts for players during the Lombardi days when the Packers would us St. Norbert College across the river as their summer practice facility, and players signed the wall to commemorate those good times. A lot of great history in this place and Tim had a lot of memories to share.
